Winners of the 3rd Annual Home Health and Hospice Awards

On November 18^th, over 200 people gathered at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science to celebrate the 3rd Annual Home Health and Hospice Awards. This event is held each November in honor of National Home Care and Hospice month. The event allows the industry as a whole to come together for one night and celebrate each other. 

Gerald Owens from WRAL was the Master of Ceremonies. Four awards were presented based on an open nomination process. These awards include the Leadership Excellence Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Volunteer of the Year Award, and Medical Practice of the Year Award.

We would like to congratulate the following winners:

• Leadership Excellence Award: Teresa Harvey

• Lifetime Achievement Award: Dr Lakshman Rao

• Volunteer of the year Award: Sarah Woodard

• Medical Practice of the Year Award: Rex Cancer Center of Wakefield
