Well Care Health has added new management positions to both its home health and home care divisions, as the company continues to grow its clinical programs across North Carolina.
Well Care Home Health has hired Dawn Hall, RN, as the new Manager for Population Health and Clinical Integration. Hall launched her nursing career at the Women’s Center of Forsyth Memorial Hospital (now Novant Health). She was a Registered Nurse (RN) in the labor and delivery unit for a few years, and then transitioned into home health care in 1999. Hall worked as a field RN for Baptist Hospital’s Homecare division and gained more experience with hands-on patient care. In 2002, she joined Gentiva Home Health as a Clinical Intake Coordinator. While there, Hall created one of the first telehealth programs in the Triad region. She developed the program’s polices and procedures and led all marketing efforts. Hall went on to become the Manager of Clinical Practice at Gentiva, where she implemented best practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. She spent the next 7 years moving up the management ranks in the home care sector, and most recently served as the Interim Branch Manager for Advanced Home Care in Gainesville, Virginia. Hall is passionate about home health care and believes it’s the only place where clinicians can work with patients in their own environment, and help them accomplish self-care independence. She looks forward to collaborating with ACOs in developing best practices and preventing readmissions. Dawn graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing. She’s currently enrolled in the BSN program at Winston Salem State University, and expects to graduate in 2019.

Well Care Home Care has tapped Mary Rollins-Hughes as the new Director of Clinical Operations. Rollins-Hughes began her nursing career at WakeMed in Raleigh where she held a variety of positions in Pediatrics, PICU, and step-down NICU. She eventually became the Unit Preceptor and assisted in the development of the Women and Infant Discharge Planning Program. The last 25 years of Rollins-Hughes’ career have been focused in Private Duty Nursing as the Director of PSA for multiple locations. She will lead all clinical services for Well Care Home Care and concentrate on growing the PDN program for all locations. As a Board member of the North Carolina Association for Home Care and Hospice, Rollins-Hughes actively collaborated with the Well Care team on improving patient outcomes. She was drawn to Well Care’s 5-star reputation and passionate leadership. Rollins-Hughes is a graduate of Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College) in Wilson, North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
