WILMINGTON, NC, June 12, 2017 – Well Care Home Health, an award-winning local health care company, is celebrating its 30 year anniversary.

Headquartered in Wilmington, North Carolina, the agency launched in 1987 with seven employees and began providing home care services in New Hanover County.

Today, Well Care is an integrated home health and home care agency that services 42 counties in the Tar Heel state and employs more than 800 people.

Well Care has received numerous accolades over the past thirty years. Most recently, the company’s Wilmington branch was named one of the top agencies in North Carolina with a perfect 5-star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Well Care’s Raleigh branch also received a 5-star rating, placing it among the top Home Health agencies in the Triangle region. Additionally, the agency was awarded a 4.5 star rating for its services in the Triad region.

Well Care received the distinction of HomeCare Elite™ ranking in the top 25% of home health agencies in the nation for three consecutive years, between 2014 and 2016.
