The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released its 5-star rating system results last week, ranking Medicare-certified home health agencies based on quality-of-care indicators. As reported by The News & Observer on July 17, Well Care’s Wilmington location is one of only two home health agencies in the state receiving a perfect 5-star score.

Additionally, Well Care’s Raleigh agency received a score of 4.5, placing it among the top two in the Triangle region according to The News & Observer report.

“We are elated with our CMS ratings,” said Wayne Long, Well Care CEO. “They are the culmination of our tireless efforts to be the best home health agency possible. We have a highly talented staff dedicated to improving patient experience and wellbeing, and we are proud to be a market leader.”
