Well Care Home Health is proud to announce its Triangle and Triad branches have each received JCAHO accreditation and Deemed Status by the Joint Commission. Health care organizations across the care continuum strive for this coveted recognition as the official stamp of approval in high quality patient care.

For years, the Joint Commission has supported health care organizations that have made patient safety an ongoing, top priority. The focus of the agency’s latest campaign is to pave the way for, and encourage, zero patient harm among health care organizations.  Voluntarily seeking out Joint Commission accreditation is part of Well Care’s commitment to holding itself to the highest standards in the industry.

“The Well Care team is thankful and proud to be recognized by the Joint Commission,” said Daniel Thompson, RN, Director of Performance Improvement and Education. “This accreditation and Deemed status solidifies Well Care as a leading home health provider in North Carolina and the country. We are committed to partnering with the Joint Commission on their goal to achieve zero patient harm. This recognition is Well Care’s first step towards achieving that goal and a testament to our commitment to putting our patients first.”

The JCAHO accreditation comes in addition to Well Care’s 5-star rating in quality care by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
