Well Care recently announced the opening of a new, state-licensed home care office in Greenville, North Carolina. The office, which opened its doors in June at 2235 West Arlington Boulevard, is now accepting new patients and hiring certified nursing aides (CNAs).

This new location will offer short- and long-term, in-home care to residents of Pitt and surrounding counties. Services provided by Well Care CNAs include personal assistance for activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, as well as assistance with transportation, paying bills, making appointments, and providing companionship and emotional support. For those requiring skilled health services, private duty registered nurses are on staff. CNA care and private-duty nursing care is also available for pediatric patients.

“We’re excited to be in Greenville,” said Mary Alice Mirek, director of home care services at Well Care. “This addition means our services are now available to a greater number of citizens who prefer to remain at home as they age.”

Well Care has offices throughout southeastern North Carolina and the Triangle. The new office allows for northern expansion of the agency’s eastern service area. For more information regarding Well Care’s home care services, call 888-815-5310.
