Jaimee Marsicano, RN, was named the Senior Director of Home Health Operations in January, 2018, after serving in the role on an interim basis for two months. She is a key member of the senior leadership team participating in strategic planning, organizational design, and the overall direction of Well Care’s home health operations.
Jaimee has been a member of Well Care’s senior leadership team since 2014. She was previously the Director of Clinical Excellence and led all clinical teams company-wide to ensure an exceptional patient experience and high quality care. Jaimee also served as Well Care’s Director of Performance Improvement and Education where she facilitated steps to meet accreditation standards and regulatory guidelines. She analyzed data and led performance improvement opportunities with infection surveillance, customer satisfaction surveys, and risk management. Jaimee also enhanced the onboarding of new clinical staff and assisted existing staff through defined education programs.
Jaimee first joined the Well Care family in 2010 as a Registered Nurse Case Manager after relocating from New York. She was responsible for the oversight of patients, their care plans and the utilization of clinical resources. Jaimee brought a decade of experience with her to Well Care, having worked in the surgical and trauma units of Valhalla, New York’s Westchester Medical Center. Her clinical skills were honed through years of direct patient care, while her management and administrative expertise were gained through progressively responsible roles. As the nurse manager on a 43-bed surgical/trauma unit, Jaimee oversaw a large staff and was responsible for developing care plans, maintaining practice standards, development and implementation of quality improvement projects, and ensuring employee competence related to job performance expectations.
Jaimee holds an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Orange County Community College in New York. She’s a natural fit as the Senior Director of Home Health Operations, and a wonderful asset to the Well Care Health organization at large.
